Corpus Christi Public Works

The Streets Services department is governed by the City of Corpus Christi in Texas. The department maintains more than 1,100 miles of city streets and over 30 miles of service drives, as well as nearly 100 parking lots. It offers pothole and base failure repair services. The department utilizes a computer software program, Micro-PAVER. The Streets Services department manages a traffic signal section that operates school zone flashing beacons. The department replaces and upgrades incandescent traffic and pedestrian signals. It maintains approximately 100,000 traffic signs and more than 400 miles of street striping. In addition, the department administers over 500 school and nearly 500 pedestrian crosswalks. The Streets Services department offers curb painting services.
