History

The Coronado Family began serving the City of Fort Worth on January 26, 1968 in the Texas Christian University area. Robert, Sr. and Lucy decided to open a shop at 2501 West Berry Street among other small business owners and boutiques hoping for their American dream. Soon after being opened for a week the store had contracts with five boutique owners and the Athletic Department of Texas Christian University Football Program. In 2016 marks 48 years of service to the Metroplex area with over twenty awards honoring Coronado's in Business, Community Participation and Excellence in Service within the Tailoring Industry. By Appointment Only: Please call for an appointment due to the nature of our business & commercial deliveries we do not want to miss serving you! Operation Hours are posted. We do commercial alterations for commercial dry cleaners but we do not offer dry cleaning services! The Tailoring Division includes custom tailored designs for men, ladies and children, alterations, alterations for dry cleaning businesses and commercial contracts for retail companies. The alteration service includes altering existing apparel. The tailoring design service includes but is not limited to school/work uniforms, costuming, custom designed specialty apparel, wedding dresses, formals, custom suiting, designs for men, women & children. The Event Division services include special event co-ordinations such as Cultural birthday celebrations, weddings, baby showers. Other event services also include floral design, fundraisers, concerts, fashion shows, corporate events, public relations & community service.
