History

I started my business 2 years ago and I started out being a resale store. About 6 months later I added a Ice Cream Parlor inside. We have a small resale store inside. We are now a restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor with a small resale shop inside

Specialties

We have great hand-pressed hamburgers, hand battered chicken tenders, and fresh brewed tea. We also have a family friendly atmosphere with live music every Friday Night from 6-8. Ask about our daily specials and we will have a salad bar and homemade desserts coming soon.

The Bandera General Store, established in 1907, is a historic location that has served multiple purposes over the years, including a saddle shop, feed store, and even a movie theater where the projector once caught fire. Today, it features original wood floors and a unique antique soda fountain, one of only 11 in Texas, where visitors can enjoy a variety of ice cream treats made with Blue Bell Ice Cream. This charming store not only offers a selection of Texas gifts, jams, and salsas but also houses the only bookstore in town, featuring modern fiction, biographies, and local history.
