Communities in Schools of South Central Texas

Founded in 1992, Communities In Schools of South Central Texas is a network of state and local offices that provides social work services to youths and families. It serves more than 23,000 students within the New Braunfels, Comal, Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City, Seguin and Marion independent school districts in Comal and Guadalupe counties in Texas. The organization offers more than 25 programs that include educational enhancement, counseling and supportive guidance, and health and human service referrals. In addition, it offers parental involvement and career exploration and employment services. Communities In Schools of South Central Texas is funded by the United Way and is located in New Braunfels, Texas.
