The Classical Theatre Company, based in Houston, TX, is dedicated to boldly re-envisioning classical drama through engaging and enlightening productions. As the only professional theatre company in the Houston area that produces year-round classical works, they strive to bring new life and relevance to iconic plays while maintaining their integrity.
For its 18th Mainstage season, the company returns to the classics with contemporary interpretations of Sophocles' "Electra" and Shakespeare's "Othello." The company performs at the historic DeLuxe Theater in Houston's Fifth Ward, a venue that has been revitalized to serve as a state-of-the-art performance space, enhancing the cultural landscape of the community.
