History
City Credit Union was issued a State of Texas charter in 1942. While our beginnings were serving only City of Dallas employees, today we serve eight counties in north-central Texas: anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Dallas, Collin, Denton, Rockwall, Ellis, Grayson and Cooke counties is eligible to become a Member. We provide the communities we serve with low-rate loans, competitive deposit rates and the convenience of technology like online banking and a mobile app. Free financial education for Members and non-Members has been a cornerstone of our organization. We added another cornerstone that we call Random Acts of Kindness. We encourage our Associates, Members and communities to do something charitable for others. Led by President and CEO Sharon Moore, City CU has grown to $450 million in assets, 35,000 Members, over 120 Associates and seven branches in north Texas. Join us to see how we're making the difference, one Member at a time.
Specialties
We provide the communities we serve with low-rate loans, competitive deposit rates and the convenience of technology like online banking and a mobile app. Member service -- in-branch, on the phone or online -- means a lot to us, and our Member survey scores show we're doing a pretty good job.
Reviews
Horrible hours. It's like the hours only cater to retirees or something. Over the past years fewer less convenient locations and lack of customer service.

This is a gimmick credit union. It's a pain to setup an account. Watch out for the $5 a month statement fee that is not clearly noted but in the fine print. I can't take my money out of here fast...
