Cinderblock

History

Cinderblock began as a creative outlet for two filmmakers. Jake Ryan Hull and Nick Melita began filming live, intimate, acoustic music sessions called Cinderblock Sessions in an industrial apartment in 2014. The idea was simple: Apply their talents with film and photography to help promote local musicians. Three years later, Cinderblock has grown into a full service film production company. They've now worked with over 75 artists in the local DFW music community, and have expanded their clientele to include corporate, commercial and non-profit clients as well. Throughout their growth as a film production company and media consultancy, Cinderblock has maintained their passion for supporting the arts by partnering with venues like the historic Granada Theater and the Rustic and working directly with many local artists. Cinderblock has taken on jobs large and small directing commercials and smaller music videos.

Specialties

Cinderblock focuses on creatively portraying messages or stories through videos. Corporate or personal, the goal stays the same: Create the most bada** video we can. The film studio also is a rentable space with great amenities and create flair.
