Church Project

History

We are a new church in the Sachse, Woodbridge, FM 544 area. However, we are a part of the Church Project Network which was started in 2010. Pastor Andy White of CPD helped to start the original Church Project (Houston/The Woodlands) which is a thriving and healthy church with over 30 House Churches meeting weekly. Since 2010 Church Project began the Church Project Network which has launched churches in the Denver area, North Colorado, Dallas, & Cincinnati.

Welcome! Church Project is a community of people who love Christ, love each other, love our world and love what church could and should be as designed by God. We began with a mission to return to the essence of leading, gathering and living the way that Christ and the early church intended. Our intent is to be unashamedly BIBLICAL, irreducibly SIMPLE and understandably RELEVANT to all. We live on mission to Make Disciples. Meet Needs. Grow Churches. We pursue our mission through Sunday Gatherings. House Church. Ministry Partnerships. We are a CHURCH - a gathering of people around a common purpose who love Christ, each other and Christ's mission in this world. We are a PROJECT - a continual pursuit of becoming who God originally intended us and the church to be. We hope to change the way people see Christ, Christians, and the Church. We believe that Christ changes lives and that His church can be the most powerful influence of love and change on the planet. The Church is an organism, not an organization. If you're SEARCHING to know who Christ is and wanting to search in an authentic community who seeks to live in love and truth, this may be the church for you.
