Founded in 1989, St. David s Rehabilitation Center provides a range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. It is a 60-plus-bed hospital comprising of physicians, nurses, therapists and case managers. The center s therapists offer treatment for vestibular, lymphedema and orthopedic problems. It provides a driving program for people with cerebrovascular accident, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury and congenital problems. St. David s Rehabilitation Center s another program offers support groups, fitness, yoga and nutrition counseling, as well as solutions for physical disabilities resulting from stroke, cerebral palsy, spinal cord and orthopedic injuries and other central nervous system disorders. Additionally, it provides physical, occupational, speech, language and aquatic therapies, as well as day care programs for neurological impairments. The center also organizes various conferences and training classes. It is operated by St. David s HealthCare, which is one of the largest hospital systems in Texas and operates various hospitals, centers and clinics. St. David s Rehabilitation Center is located in Austin, Texas.
