Founded in 1989, Providence Christian School of Texas is an independent day school that serves more than 450 students in grades one through eight. Its academic curriculum includes phonics program, Saxon math, grammar, language arts, recitation and public speaking. Additionally, it conducts classes in nature studies, laboratory sciences, physical education and Latin. The school operates a foreign language department that conducts classes in Latin for students in grades three through eight. HistoryThe Church was founded in 2014, in Dallas, Texas. We were founded as the result of Grant Myers stepping out courageously to live out his dream of starting a church that people loved to attend. After a few days of discussions among friends and by a group of core families who felt God's call to begin a new work in Dallas, Texas that was committed to the ideals set forth herein, the group determined to start our church at Caruth Park in University Park, Texas.
