Christ Episcopal Church

Established in 1907, Christ Episcopal Church is an Episcopal church, located in the historic Monte Vista district of San Antonio. The church offers various prayers services with scripture, songs and hymns. It offers various adult education ministries, including weekly Bible studies and fellowship, small home groups, and education for ministry, a four-year theological education extension program of the School of Theology of the University of the South. Its also has Sam Capers Guild, a life worth living, daughters of the king, a women s prayer group, morning women s Bible study, Thursday morning men s breakfast and Bible study, and Friday morning downtown Bible study ministries. The church also has childrens ministries that offer Sunday school, children's chapels, special events, and projects. Christ Episcopal Church also has various international missions, and sends members to Russia, Uganda, and Mexico. It also offers columbarium, Christ church endowment, and Ellison scholarship programs.
