The Children's Nutrition Research Center (CNRC) is a collaborative initiative involving Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital, and the USDA Agricultural Research Service. With a dedicated team of 50 faculty members and over 200 staff, the center focuses on nutrition-related research aimed at understanding the nutritional needs of children from conception through adolescence, as well as pregnant women and nursing mothers.
As one of six USDA human nutrition research centers, the CNRC conducts scientific investigations to develop improved nutritional guidelines that promote health, growth, and development. The center's research aims to enhance nutritional standards for children and their mothers, contributing to better long-term health outcomes for future generations.
