Children's Home Healthcare

History

Children's Home Healthcare was established in January of 2005. The company was founded by Kara Gaut, R.N., M.S. N., J.F. Adams, M.B.A., and Dian Adams, R.N., M.B.A., D.N.P. in Amarillo, Texas responding to the need to provide focused, quality pediatric nursing care to medically fragile children throughout the Texas Panhandle. The overwhelming response by the community to the mission of the company quickly led to Children's Home Healthcare success in being recognized as the premier provider of Pediatric Home Healthcare in Amarillo and the surrounding area. Since it's founding in Amarillo, Children's Home Healthcare has grown. Today we provide Pediatric Home Healthcare in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area through two dedicated agencies, one located in Van Alstyne, Texas and the other in Dallas, Texas. Childrens also has an agency in the Texas Hill country working with dedicated professionals providing critically needed services.

Children's Home Healthcare is a pediatric home healthcare agency for medically complex children. At Children's Home Healthcare, we believe children are special -- so we specialize! We specialize in private duty nursing, pediatric skilled nursing care, neonatal care, ventilator and tracheostomy care, gastric feedings, infusion therapy, skilled nursing visits and patient education and training for medically complex children. Patients suffering from these disorders require specialized and intensive treatment over an extended period of time. We care about the needs of your child and understand that issues arise after hours. To ensure that our patients receive the care they need, we have trained staff on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any questions or concerns that may arise. We provide effective education, clinical services and support to assure today's children have every opportunity to succeed tomorrow. Some of our programs include CBA, CCP, CSHCN, MDCP, PAS, PCS, PASD, STAR, STAR Health and, STAR+PLUS. All of Children's Home Healthcare services are designed to provide the highest-quality care in the patient's home, surrounded by their family.
