Founded in 1929, Austin Woman's Club promotes the study of literary, civic, patriotic, artistic and other cultural subjects, as well as preserving the historical and architectural heritage of the North-Evans Chateau. Located in Austin, Texas, some of the activities include providing a location for meetings and fundraisers, providing financial aid through the granting of scholarship monies, holding weekly educational programs of an artistic, literary and civic nature, and providing educational tours of the historic facility. Austin Woman's Club helps improve conditions and opportunities for women, provides means for women to engage in philanthropic service, encourages leadership, as well as advances the spirit of service and understanding.

I have enjoyed attending two luncheons here. It is a lovely setting and the catering is quite good and accommodating to vegetarians. I like the historic building and ambiance.
