W.H. Adamson High School provides a variety of learning opportunities and extracurricular activities for students. The school serves more than 1,300 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in math, science, social studies and English. W.H. Adamson High School provides counseling and guidance sessions. It has a library that offers a range of educational and learning print and electronic resources and materials. W.H. Adamson High School works with a team of over 90 staff members. The school also maintains a parent-teacher association. It provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of athletic activities. W.H. Adamson High School is governed by the Dallas Independent School District, which additionally manages various elementary, middle and high schools. The district operates through maintenance, real estate, telecommunications, transportation, and food and child nutrition services departments.
