Cedars Montessori School is nestled on 16 acres of wooded land in southwest Austin, giving a countryside setting that allows children to enjoy and explore nature. Established in 1974, Cedars offers a rich educational environment for children ranging from ages three to twelve. Developing a respect and sense of responsibility to the natural world is an integral part of our mission. Our teaching staff is highly qualified, trained and certified through A.M.I. or A.M.S., providing a comprehensive program for the development of the whole child.Cedars offers three primary classrooms, two lower elementary classrooms and one upper elementary classroom. Each classroom is its own building tied together with beautiful gardens and outdoor space.
