Causeway Bar & Grill

Causeway is a modern bar and hangout serving up cocktails, espresso, and great food from the grill. Established in 2014 as a café and coffee shop in Port Isabel’s historic Lighthouse Square district, we have expanded into a full bar and grill, bringing a city-style pub to South Texas, with the region’s best craft beer selection and trained espresso experts. Our back garden patio has views of the water and the bridge to South Padre Island — called the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway, it’s the landmark we’re named after. Sit indoors or street-side, and you’re right in front of the Lighthouse, built in 1852. Enjoy great coffee in a cafe setting — stay for lunch, dinner, drinks and entertainment.
