The drinks were watered down. There were only 5 tables but they barely checked on us. No one asked us if we liked the food which is food because the fajita vegetables were raw and the steak fajita...

Great Historic restaurant for Lufkin. Food was good and the waiters really hustle. Ate there in the 50's and still the same down home authentic Mexican food. Loved the queso.

Swung by for lunch and it was plenty filling but oh so underwhelming. I wouldn't mind eating her again but I'm certainly not going out of my way to do so.

This is old school TexMex not your modern fast food variety. Brings back memories of El Matt's (Austin) and Herbert's Taco Hut (San Marcos). Love the owners/staff.
