Carpenter's Bluff is a historic settlement located on the banks of the Red River, approximately 12 miles northeast of Sherman, Texas. Established around 1860, it was initially named after a local ferry operator and has a rich history, including a brief period when it was known as Thiefneck after the Civil War.

The Carpenter's Bluff Bridge, built in 1910, links Grayson County, Texas, to Bryan County, Oklahoma.
