Founded in 1958, Camp Deer Run is a nonprofit organization and Christian youth camp that provides outdoor activities for children. It maintains a resident camp that offers swimming, crafts and Bible reading lessons. The camp organizes tours and also maintains a more than 15 glass-window cabins that offers space for over 16 individuals. Camp Deer Run also features a mess hall that organizes discussions and classes and provides cooking services. Its pavilion area has a seating capacity of nearly 500 guests. The camp also organizes rope competitions that offer opportunities to climb more than 30-foot trees. Camp Deer Run is located in Winnsboro, Texas.
