C. Jeffrey Pennell, MD, FACS

Dr. Jeremy Cefalu, MD, attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology also from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport as well. He has been in Tyler since 2018 and is an established member of our community. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Austin Lash, MD, is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. After graduating with highest honors from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology and a minor in Chemistry, he returned home to complete medical school at Louisiana State University Medical Center. Dr. Lash served his intern year at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Austin Texas where he met and married his wife before returning to Shreveport to complete a residency in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gregory Kiblinger, MD, graduated with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After working at a mission hospital in Zaire, Africa for a year he began medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, graduating in 2000 as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed an Internship and Residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Internal Medicine and remained on staff at the Dallas VA Medical Center for a year. This was followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City.
