My mother has been at Grace Care Cypress for about 5 months. There evidently were some major problems in the past but things have really changed since they hired a new director in the past year....

The Grace Care Centers were founded in 2004 on the principles and life of Grace Eileen Hallsted-Hoffmann (1922-2008), a wonderful mother, wife, friend, and caregiver -in the way she lived her daily life. Her youngest son, Jake Hallsted, founder of the Grace Care Centers, dedicated the name of the respected rehabilitation facilities to his mother because she was his mentor, best friend and inspiration. Grace always cared for others first, spreading her kindness to the lives she touched. Her soul was gentle and her spirit was as strong. She never complained about what life had dealt her but instead, she was always grateful for what life had to offer. Grace also had a gift for always putting everyone at ease; she would walk into a room and faces would light up because of her gracious nature and contagious smile. She taught her family by example, that caring and loving others should always be their mission in life, no matter what they did for a living.

Beware of this establishment! This is from my uncle being restrained to his bed or wheel chair . I tried to talk to them in person. An employee, Doortez (however you spell it's name) is the rudest...

My sister has been a long term resident and have to say she is happy. Everyone is so helpful and care for my sister. I do feel they may be a little understaffed, but that's the nature of the beast...
