This is an awesome paddling trail and place to kayak & is so close to town! It's shaded and gorgeous. The parking is well thought out, there are trash cans for your trash, there's a rail to help...

You can't do anything here. The water in the creek is disgusting and the area to access the water is right outside a waste water treatment facility. It smells absolutely disgusting there any time...

I am always thankful for put-in spots and this one deserves that same spirit of appreciation. The water level in July for some TX rivers can be low but this was high enough to give decent passage...
