Dr. Banks became interested in podiatry while obtaining his undergraduate degree in philosophy from Baylor University. He then moved to Chicago to complete his medical degree at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. After obtaining his degree, he elected to stay in Chicago to complete his surgical residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital, a level one trauma center. Dr. Banks then moved back to Texas, where he has been in practice since 2010.
