Our office provides Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments utilizing patented H-Coil technology by BrainsWay. Deep TMS is an innovative form of neurostimulation therapy that is FDA-approved to treat symptoms of major depressive disorder (MDD), anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and smoking addiction. It may also be used to help minimize symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, and more. About Dr. Sara Goel Sara Goel, DO, is a board-certified interventional pain management physician by training who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation at her office in Houston, Texas. Dr. Goel is skilled with up-to-date treatments and is committed to providing comprehensive patient care for headaches, joint pain, and spine-related pain. She integrates a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating medication management and physical therapy in combination with interventional pain management. Dr. Goel began her education at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a business foundations minor. She then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, with a specialty training in osteopathic medicine. She completed her internship at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, before completing her residency at Baylor College of Medicine/UT PM&R Alliance in Houston, Texas. She rounded out her medical training with an interventional spine and chronic pain management fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. After completing her medical training, Dr. Goel worked as a physician at rehabilitation and pain management medical offices in Illinois and Texas. Dr. Goel obtained her board certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as the American Board of Pain Medicine. She is also certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
