This beach was way better than I expected, it is lovely little beach near Austin, perfect to take a dip and enjoy the sun.

There is an entrance fee of $5 (which is totally fine) which goes to the "maintenance and improvement" of the park and making it nice. However, it looks bad. Like grass overgrown on "trails" and...

Really nice wide open spot. Lots of picnic tables and grills with tent covers. Beautiful lake views. We came on a Saturday at noon and it was not crowded. It is dog friendly. The entry fee is $5...
