Blinn College is one of the oldest county-owned junior colleges in Texas that offers college transfer courses, continuing education and vocational training programs. It has a counseling and guidance department that assists students in achieving their educational and career goals and provides information regarding careers and employment opportunities. The college offers academic programs in the areas of computer science, criminal justice, foreign languages, engineering graphics, theater arts, business, music and agriculture. It also provides technical education in dental hygiene, physical therapist assistant, small business management, desktop publishing and general business. Established in 1883, Blinn College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is located in Bryan, Texas.
