THE NEWEST CAFE, LOUNGE AND BAR IN BRECKENRIDGE, TEXAS Blackhorse Mercantile & Cafe is located in downtown Breckenridge in the historical 1920’s building previously known as “The Popular.” Our goal is to bring an enjoyable “city” atmosphere to small town Texas, offering a variety of handcrafted sandwiches, grazing boards, flatbreads and salads. At Blackhorse, you’ll experience luxurious and delicious dining combined with a relaxing, intimate, and private atmosphere. Pair your dinner with one of our select draft beers or wines on tap and enjoy all downtown Breckenridge has to offer. Currently, we serve lunch and dinner from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday – Saturday and are closed Sunday and Monday. We look forward to serving you!

We were trying new things in the area. This is a unique place. Very simple cuisine with a cool atmosphere. And they have a bar.

This is such a treasure for Breckenridge. The ambiance is incredible, the service is top notch, and we tried several menu items, all very delicious!!!
