Bembe' - Cuban Salsa Dancing

History

Bembe' means Party in Cuba but it is also a Rhythm. We created Bembe' to celebrate the Cuban culture through their dancing. Cuban salsa is dynamic in that it requires all of your body in order to dance it well. We focus on building solid dancers through teaching footwork, body movement, connection to your partner and musicality.

Specialties

Bembe' is a Dance Company focused on the Cuban Culture and it's dances. We teach Cuban Salsa (Casino), Rueda de Casino, Son, and Rumba. Casino is a Cuban dance that has a very similar look to Salsa dancing. In fact, most people call it Cuban Salsa. We focus on building dancers that understand music, how to lead and follow your partner, footwork and moving that body! Great Cuban dancers can dance to any Latin song, with any person. We are looking to build solid dancers, but in a fun and energetic environment! Oh yea, and you will be sweating, so dress comfortable!
