Bellaire Elementary

Kingsborough Middle School serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. Located in San Antonio, the middle school offers a variety of academic programs in language arts, mathematics, sciences, social science and economics. It also offers classes in technology, and family and consumer science. The school has a library that provides resources, such as books, journals and magazines and Internet access. Its athletics department offers various sports activities, such as tennis, football, soccer, basketball, golf and baseball. Kingsborough Middle School also conducts classes in health and physical education. The school provides a range of multicultural activities and offers counseling and career programs to students. Kingsborough Middle School is owned and operated by the Harlandale Independent School District.

Cyndi Taylor Krier Juvenile Correctional Treatment Center, owned by the Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department, is a long-term, residential, 90-plus-bed facility that specializes in therapeutic intervention and rehabilitative services. The center offers several educational programs through the East Central Independent School District s Bexar County Learning Center and medical, dental and mental health services through Detention Health Care Services: University Health System Detention Health Care Services. The medical section at the center has a dental laboratory and physical examination and suicide prevention observation rooms. The Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department is a fundamental part of the Juvenile Justice System, which is owned by the government of Bexar County in Texas.
