History

Beaukisses evolved from the original store, Tis The Season, whose home was at Lakeline Mall in Austin for 12 years. Originally a seasonal holiday store open from August until mid January, Tis The Season became a year-round specialty retail store in 2002 offering a diverse and rotating inventory selection based on current trends as well as the various seasons throughout the year. After enjoying several years of success, a second location was opened in late 2009 called Beaukisses at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. Named after the small community, Beaukiss, northeast of Austin where the owner grew up. In late 2012, the Tis The Season location was relocated to the new upscale development, The Trails of 620 in Austin and was renamed Beaukisses.
