BPSOS is a refugee-run organization dedicated to defending persecuted communities and empowering disenfranchised individuals to achieve liberty and dignity. Since the 1980s, they have expanded their mission from protecting Vietnamese boat people to supporting immigrants, refugees, victims of trafficking, and survivors of violence both in the U.S. and overseas.
The organization provides various services, including advocacy for the resettlement of recognized refugees, combating trafficking in persons, and promoting religious freedom. With branches across the United States and in Southeast Asia, BPSOS actively engages in community development and legal support initiatives to address pressing social issues.

I've been to 2017, 2018, 2019, no events during Covid and now 2023. Great annual competition raises money to support BPSOS' efforts. Congrats to Boat People SOS-Houston for the 7th Annual Banh...

So disappointed, the line is extremely long, food is overrated. Lucky you have total one full Banh MI for this $30 event. Don't waste your money again. By the way parking cost $10.

Always a good time. Lots of different flavors to sample. Meeting lots of new people. And a great cause to top it off. What more could you ask for?
