Lux Bakery, Inc. is a family-owned American-Hispanic pastry factory that has been delighting Texans and the San Antonio community since 1965. Founded by Ignacio Alvarez, Sr., Lux Bakery has perfected the art of mass production while maintaining a commitment to personal care and a passion for their dream.

Starting from humble beginnings, Alvarez worked his way up from baking at a neighborhood grocery store to opening his own bakery. Today, Lux Bakery sells their favorite American-Hispanic pastry bread items to grocers, distributors, and school districts nationwide, embodying Alvarez's famous saying, "If they can do it, I can do it."
