Back Pew Brewing is not your typical brewery. Housed in a former church, this establishment embraces the unconventional, the strange, and the original. With a passion for crafting exceptional craft beers, they defy the norm and brew boldly, never shying away from innovative creations.
Founder and Brewmaster Bobby Harl, PhD, MBA, started his journey with a home-brew set in 2008 and honed his skills working with industry mentors. Returning to Houston in 2014, his dream of producing flavorful, character-rich beers came to life with the establishment of Back Pew Brewing.
At Back Pew Brewing, guests can enjoy a variety of unique brews, ranging from a West Coast Double IPA with a hefty ABV to a Strawberry Kolsch with a crisp finish. The taproom also welcomes parties, providing a vibrant space for friends and family to gather and celebrate over quality craft beers.

Have to purchase a glass to have samples. We should have stayed at Deca where you can sample for free before making a commitment.

The ambiance was great, my dog was happy and service was great. They have outside and inside sealing. Family and pet friendly.
