History

I became interested in art when my father came home from work everyday and went to his studio to paint the Texas hill country. My very first painting was a portrait of Elvis Presley. The more I painted, the more I wanted to paint. After graduating from college with a degree in Advertising Art, I got married and decided to paint full time, selling my work through various galleries. I have sold art to clients across the US and have been included in many prestigious art shows. I would love to beautify your walls with my work!

Specialties

I have been producing oil paintings professionally for many years. I have a degree in Advertising Art from Texas Tech University, but I attribute most of my art training to my father, Palmer Chrisman, noted hill country painter. The main subject I paint is westerns, but I also do Texas landscapes, as well as Italian street scenes and African animals. I have had ten of my paintings published on Leanin' Tree greeting cards and have been written up in Southwest Art magazine. I also custom paint art to suit your specifications.
