After graduation from Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey in 1991, Dr. Dural completed her internship in Department of Internal Medicine in 1996 at Michael Reese Hospital, at University of Illinois at Chicago. In 1996, she went to The University of Illinois at Chicago, where she completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and served as chief resident in 1999. In 2000, she finished her fellowship at a joint program through The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Baylor College of Medicine in Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine. Dr. Dural is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Dural enjoys classical music, books, movies and going to concerts.

Lana Hawayek, MD, FAAD, FASDS

Dr. Hawayek's training has taken her across the globe, starting at the American University of Beirut, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to earn her medical degree in 1999, and completed a year of internship during which she rotated in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and other related specialties. She also completed a year of Surgical Anatomical Pathology. She then enrolled at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine where she completed an internship in Internal Medicine, followed by residency in Dermatology, under notable chair Dr. Diya Mutasim. During this time, Dr. Hawayek was appointed chief resident in her final year. She became board certified in Dermatology in 2005.

She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2015. Dr. Jamal is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Texas Medical Association and The Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Jamal enjoys watching movies, traveling to new countries and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Jamal's favorite book is the "The Da Vinci Code" and her favorite medical television show is "Grey's Anatomy." The most interesting place she has ever visited is Rome. Watching the Food Network is her guilty pleasure.
