Austin Title

Austin Title Company began as a small, family owned company in 1953 to handle builder and realtor business. It grew during the course of three decades and was acquired by American Title Company, a subsidiary of Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation. In 1998 Lawyers Title Corporation acquired Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Transnation Title Insurance Company from Reliance Insurance Company to become LandAmerica Financial Group. LandAmerica Financial Group is one of the United States leading providers of real estate transaction services. Austin Title Company, renamed LandAmerica Austin Title, is a wholly owned subsidiary of LandAmerica Financial Group, and is located in Austin, Texas, with more than 10 metro locations.
