Austin Industries and its operating companies engage in almost every type of civil, commercial and industrial construction. Austin also provides in-plant maintenance and capital construction services to the plants of the refining and petrochemical industries. Although Austin operates primarily in the southern half of the United States, Austin has often performed work in the Northern U.S., as well. Austin Industries is owned entirely by its employees through its employee stock ownership plan. Each Austin employee is a part-owner of the company. Austin Industries has a corporate group whose entire purpose is to increase Austin's diversity.
