Asian/Pacific America Heritage
The Asian Pacific American Heritage Association (APAHA) was established in Houston in 1992 with a mission to promote awareness and understanding of the diverse cultures and accomplishments of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through educational initiatives and celebratory events. APAHA's activities include annual galas, community celebrations, and a variety of cultural events that foster appreciation for AAPI heritage.
A cornerstone of the local AAPI community, APAHA organizes several key events each May to coincide with Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, including the Annual AANHPI Luncheon and AsiaFest. Through these events, the association strives to enrich the cultural landscape of Houston and strengthen community bonds.
