She earned her M.B.B.S. from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Malik specializes in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and the treatment of common illnesses. She offers a wide range of services, including annual wellness visits, vaccinations, physical health screenings, and management of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, thyroid disease, asthma, and arthritis. Dr. Malik also treats minor illnesses like colds, the flu, strep throat, UTIs, and more. Located at the Clear Lake Campus in Webster, TX, Dr. Malik is committed to providing compassionate care with same-day appointments and on-site laboratory services for immediate testing. She also offers weight loss management and works with specialists to provide comprehensive care, ensuring a seamless healthcare experience for all her patients.

Janet Metts is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over five years of experience in internal medicine, specializing in chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive health. She currently serves as Nurse Practitioner Director at the Primary Care Center of Clear Lake, where she leads clinical operations and multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes and care coordination. Janet has a strong clinical background that includes psychiatric nursing at Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare and pediatric home health experience through Angels of Care. She is skilled in managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart failure, and excels in interpreting diagnostic tests, implementing preventive care strategies, and ensuring compliance with Medicare HEDIS measures. She is proficient in multiple electronic health record platforms, experienced in telehealth delivery, and holds certifications in DEA prescribing and Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA). Known for her holistic and evidence-based approach, Janet is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that supports long-term wellness.
