History

Ascend Sports & Ortho PT started as an idea of mine after working in management positions around Dallas, and I wanted to try a different approach to patient care. Something I have consistently noticed throughout my career is the imbalance of the patient's needs with their insurance provider's limitations or lack of benefits. Sometimes this is not a problem, and patients are very happy with their insurance provider, but too often I've seen patients restricted from further treatment because of caps or visit limits, or physical therapists over-loaded with so many patients they couldn't maximize their treatment potential. The only way I saw to give the care I felt my patients deserved, was to structure a business separate of insurance, where I could personally work with each patient, and avoid needless restrictions. Each patient has 1 to 1 care at Ascend, so I can assess every movement, facilitate rapid healing, and the patient is truly number one.

Ascend Sports & Orthopaedic Physical Therapy is an outpatient clinic specializing in sports-related injuries. The idea of Ascend was born after working in many PT offices over the years. It was then we decided we wanted to open an clinic to treat clients on our own terms. Much of the industry is governed by insurance providers, and oftentimes people aren't able to get the treatment they want or need. At our practice, we have the ability to personalize a patient's treatments, ensuring they get a hands-on experience designed specifically for them. Clients also see the same physical therapist every visit which leads to better results, and our environment encourages patient-PT communication.
