Artist Boat

Artist Boat is a non-profit based in Galveston Island and its mission is to promote awareness and preservation of coastal margins and the marine environment through the disciplines of the sciences and the arts. Artist Boat offers kayak adventures to the public everyday in the Summer months and on the weekends in Spring and Fall. All of our interpretive kayak adventures go to places on Galveston Bay that are valued for their natural significance. Our lead guides are American Canoe Association Certified Kayak Instructors and all our professionals with degrees in science or art. Most of our participants are beginners so every adventure includes all kayak equipment, tandem kayaks and begins with kayak instruction on land. Must pre-register for trip the day before adventure.
