Argos Brewhouse & Bookseller

History

Argos is the brain child of Rod Wetsel and Jeff Allen (Wetsel & Allen Properties) and Jared Houze (St. Stephen's Episcopal Church). The three men, after many conversations of unique ways to use the space, agreed that Sweetwater needed a place like Argos. Wetsel & Allen Properties and St. Stephens Episcopal Church decided to join forces to create this place with the idea that Argos should be a place to hang after a game, to come for a book group, to have a soda while kiddos are at dance, piano, soccer practice, have a meeting over a cup of coffee, a place to hear live music, go on a date, take kids for story time, host a private party, pick up your next favorite book, bottle of wine, or Texas craft beer, participate in unique contemporary worship experiences, a place for community.
