Arena Brands manufactures hats, shirts, jeans, jackets, boots and a variety of rodeo gear with the help of its two subsidiary companies, Hatco and Lucchese. Arena Brands manufactures much of its diverse lines of hats, but much of the other apparel is manufactured overseas and then shipped to the company for distribution. The company acts a as a wholesaler, selling only to commercial clients, such as department and retail stores. Arena Brands and its subsidiaries do not sell directly to the public. In addition to its corporate offices in Garland, Texas, the company also maintains a manufacturing plant in Longview, Texas. Arena Brands is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, and has been in business since the 1940s.
