Apparition Skateboards

History

Opened in the last week of September 08 at 917 W. Anderson Ln, The Lone Star Sk8 was established as a sullen, quiet skate shop for those that appreciate good gear and a fair price. Fighting the evil recession monster through the year to come The Lone Star Sk8 grew weary of the Bellsouth Beasts ability to understand it was not a skating rink, but a quiet shop born to fight evil and not explain the difference between the rink and ye shop. With the help of Team Apparition, the decision was made to struggle on, but to leave the murky marshes that are Anderson and Lamar and re-establish itself in the friendly and loving atmosphere of the North Loop Quandry. And so it was, that 9-9-08 became the official date of birth for Apparition Skateboards.... if you see the state cemetery, then you are but 100 paces away from our door. In October 2018, Apparition Skateboards happily relocated to The Drag where it will continue to remain as Austin's Local Underground Skate Shop... Since 2008!

We sell skateboards, skateboard accessories, longboards, cruisers, hats, shoes & clothing! Yup, everything you need from $30 blank decks, $40 pro decks to $55 Bones Swiss 6 Ball bearings. Yessir, we want your business and we dang sure try to have what you want. Stop on in 'n see us, take a seat on the couch 'n check out the Skateboard Bible :D And every once in a while, we'll have some folks play some real live TX music for ya.
