About Jose Orona Life took an unexpected turn for Jose Luis Orona, Jr., when he lost his younger brother to cancer. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2006 with an engineering degree, Jose rejected offers from several engineering firms to instead work as a Sales Professional for Family Heritage Life Insurance Company of America (FHL).
