History

Allied Mental Health Services opened its doors in 1985. Originally established as an alternative healing center for recovery from compulsive, addictive and dysfunctional behavior and drug abuse, AMHS successfully helped many people turn around their lives without costly hospitalizations or dependence on medications. As demand for services increased from people not needing intensive help, but wanting to improve the quality of their lives, new programs were introduced. The drug abuse component gave way to an expanded hypnotherapy and holistic healing emphasis.
