Founded in 1967 by Jeannette Clift George, A. D. Players is one of Houston's largest resident theaters and the nation's oldest professional Christian theaters. A.D. Players s Grace Theater produces five main stage shows each season and its children's theater offers children the opportunity to experience live theater. A.D Player s Theater Arts Academy offers classes ranging from age five to adult throughout the year and its National Touring Company offers Christian drama and educational shows annually for various schools, churches and organizations throughout the country. A. D. Players operates out of six different locations in Houston.
