Abandoned Animal Rescue is a nonprofit and no-kill animal shelter located in Tomball, Texas, in the Greater northwest Houston area. The organization is staffed by volunteers devoted to saving the lives of homeless and unwanted animals. All pets are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, wormed and tested for heartworms. Operating money for the shelter, including medication, spay and neuter, food and supplies comes from adoption fees, donations, and fund-raisers. The center offers low-cost spay and neuter programs on certain days of the week at the shelter to aid the community. Its sponsors include Kroger, Hooters, McDonalds, Mel s Caf , Spring Creek Feed, Wal Mart and Woodforest National Bank.
