History

Established in 2011 The 5K9WalkRun series was formed by a team of dog lovers who also happen to be world class coaches and Ironman triathlon champions. Paula Newby-Fraser, Heather Fuhr, Paul Huddle and Roch Frey, along with their best canine friends, bring their love of dogs and fitness together in the lifestyle of the 5K9WalkRun series.

Specialties

5k9WalkRun is a 5k or 1 mile walk/run series that benefits homeless animals through the Petco Foundation. The courses (5km & 1-mile) are flat and user friendly for both people and pets.There will be some great pet and sport specific vendors at the expo showing off their products and providing free samples. It's all about three things: Healthier Pets. Happier People. Better World.
